The Kahnawake Education Center (KEC) Finance Department’s role is to manage and control education dollars and to maintain sound financial and accounting principals.

Utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the KEC Finance Director manages the daily activities of the KEC Accounting Department to ensure that sufficient cash flow is available in order to provide effective and efficient educational services to all Kahnawá:kero:non attending community schools and funding for those attending off-reserve educational institutions.

Louie John Diabo, Director of Finance,
Louie John is responsible for the fiscal management of the Kahnawake Education System and accounting reporting to stakeholders.  Duties also include management of the Information Technology Department.

Denise Jacobs, Finance Manager
Denise is responsible for managing the day to day activities of the Accounting departments, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general accounting for the Kahnawake Education Center operations.


Geraldine Sky, Finance Clerk
Geraldine assists the Finance Manager in daily bookkeeping/accounting for the Kahnawake Education Center operations.


Tracey Alfred, Administrative Assistant to Finance
Tracey assists the Finance department for the Kahnawake Education Center operations.  Other duties include assistance to the IT department.
